FCA Staff Living the Core Values

Just as these young athletes look ready and prepared to run into the field of competition, I celebrate all of our FCA Team and the fact that we are competing with endurance to fulfill the vision of FCA!

I want to celebrate a few stories that have come to me regarding a few of our FCA Teammates across the Region.  Living our Core Values is crucial to the success of our ministry Culture.  We have heard that Culture will eat Strategy for Lunch!  I'm very inspired by the way our Team is living out our Core Values of Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence!

Teamwork - Richy Large, Area Representative Southwest OK

Richy has demonstrated his desire to live out the Value of Teamwork! We will express our Unity in Christ in all of our relationships.  Richy is quick to lean on the strengths of his teammates and his board for prayer and support.  Big Events, Coaches Huddles, Team Huddles and Donor Relationships, Richy is willing to bring people with him in all that he does.

Excellence - Devin Dickinson, Administrative Assistant, South Central Arkansas

Devin did an amazing job in the core value of Excellence surrounding our 2020 Fields of Faith "Taking it to the House" edition.  Anytime we do a new event, there are always questions of what could go wrong. Devin executed a great vision of a somewhat complicated setup. We wanted the event to have that live feel even though most of it was prerecorded. He served our team and area with excellence. There were 30 schools and many churches depending on us to deliver a high-quality livestreamed event. We couldn’t have done it without him. The event was done with excellence due to Devin's effort!

Serving - Ben Kazseta, Area Representative, Lafayette, LA

South Louisiana was devastated by Hurricane Laura.  It is still hard to believe and doesn’t seem real. From day one, Ben has leveraged his time, work ethic, influence, and relationships to help so many people in the recovery process. And he has done it for 8 weeks. From helping coaches and athletes in the Lake Charles area to helping the families of athletes at UL, he is been grinding for a really long time and he has had an incredible attitude each and every time he shows up. Cutting down trees, hauling debris to the road, and gutting houses isn’t glamorous work, but he really has modeled what serving looks like in each and every situation he has been a part of. Not only is he meeting a practical need for these families, he has been such an incredible source of hope and encouragement to the families across Southwest Louisiana.

Excellence - Lisa Batt, Area Representative, Northwest OK Panhandle

Lisa did a phenomenal job promoting, presenting and reflecting Christ throughout her first Fields of Faith rally as our Newest FCA Teammate.  It was easily obvious that she planned and promoted well as over 350 students from 8 different high schools attended the event. A couple of schools traveled an hour and a half to be present and take part in the Fields of Faith event! Lisa refelcted so much professionalism and it was obvious that she had established key relationships and her influence was shining brightly! I sat back and watched her lead and she never hesitated or missed a beat in her leadership and presentation skills! I am so proud of her example and how she reflected the core value of excellence in every thing she did at this event!

The end result was 65 new decisons for Christ shared from the students that attended!
